NEW YORK — Stasis has launched Stasis Kids, a day-and-night nutritional supplement system designed for children ages 6 to 17 who take prescription stimulants.
The company said the new system is meant to complement, not replace, a child’s existing stimulant regimen. Stasis Kids combines a morning Daytime formula with an evening Nighttime formula and is available in both gummies and capsules.
According to Stasis, the Daytime formula was developed to support stress response, mood and a calm, alert state during the day. It contains 300 mg of KSM-66 Ashwagandha, 200 mg of L-theanine, 30 mg of SAFFR’ACTIV Saffron, vitamin D3, vitamin B12 and selenium.
The Nighttime formula, designed to be taken 30 to 60 minutes before bed, contains magnesium glycinate, zinc glycinate, vitamin B6, L-theanine and vitamin C. Stasis said the formula is intended to provide nutritional support and complement the body’s natural sleep-wake rhythm.
“I grew up taking stimulants, so I understand the trade-offs firsthand. I created Stasis Kids because I wish it was available for me when I was a child,” said Dan Freed, founder and CEO of Stasis. “But the messages that have stayed with me since we started Stasis Kids come from parents. They’re looking for a way to support their child’s daily experience, and that’s what we built Stasis Kids to do.”
Stasis said the products are third-party tested for active ingredients, microbials, heavy metals and pesticides. The formulas are free from the nine major food allergens, contain no artificial dyes and are low in sugar.
Stasis Kids is available online for children ages 6 to 17, and families can purchase the Daytime formula, Nighttime formula or both. Prices start at $40.
The company advises parents and caregivers to consult a child’s physician before use. The product’s claims have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and Stasis Kids is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
