Nebraska Medicine completes expansion of outpatient pharmacy
Nebraska Medicine, the largest health care facility in Nebraska, has just completed a major upgrade to its flagship outpatient pharmacy. According to Vince Jorn, director of community based pharmacy services, the newly expanded pharmacy tripled in size from 2500 to 7500 square feet.

Cardinal Health reports second quarter results
Cardinal Health reported on Thursday second quarter fiscal year 2019 revenues of $37.7 billion, an increase of 7%. The company also reported growth in GAAP operating earnings of 26% to $504 million and a decrease in non-GAAP operating earnings of 13 percent to $637 million.
ACPE executive director Dr. Peter Vlasses retires
CHICAGO – The Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) announces that their executive director Dr. Peter Vlasses will retire on June 30, 2019. Dr. Vlasses will have served as the executive director of ACPE for 20 years and been a leader in the profession of pharmacy for almost 45 years.
Aurobindo receives FDA approval for tadalafil tablets
Aurobindo has received final approval from U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its Abbreviated New Drug Application for tadalafil tablets USP, 20 mg. Aurobindo’s tadalafil tablets is an AB-rated generic equivalent to the reference listed drug, Eli Lilly’s Adcirca.
