General Mills Inc. has closed its acquisition of natural food company Annie’s Inc. General Mills said Tuesday that it completed its tender offer to buy Annie’s for $46 per share, or about $820 million. The deal was announced early last month.

L’Oreal USA to acquire Carol’s Daughter

L’Oreal USA has entered into an agreement to buy natural beauty products maker Carol’s Daughter. Financial terms of the transaction weren’t disclosed. The agreement is pending regulatory approval as well as other customary closing conditions.

Cosmederm Bioscience Inc.’s TriCalm Anti-Itch Hydrogel has been granted the National Eczema Association (NEA) Seal of Acceptance. The specialty pharmaceutical company said the seal recognizes TriCalm as a product appropriate for the care of itching related to eczema or sensitive skin.
