MINNEAPOLIS — Target Corp. is expanding its national footprint this summer with the opening of eight new stores across six states, including a landmark 320th location in California. The summer openings are part of Target’s broader strategy to launch 20 new stores this year and more than 300 over the next decade.
The new locations, opening between July and August, reflect Target’s focus on both large-format stores and localized customer convenience, with several stores surpassing 125,000 square feet. Most will offer services like Drive Up, Order Pickup, and same-day delivery through Target Circle 360, in addition to featuring popular in-store experiences like Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy, and Starbucks Café.
