PLANO, Texas — Tostitos has unveiled Tostitos Catina tortilla chips and salsas, a new addition to its roster of snacks.
The Frito-Lay/PepsiCo tortilla chip brand said Monday that Tostitos Cantina aims to recreate the Mexican restaurant experience for consumers at home through vibrant, colorful packaging, unique tortilla chip textures and perfectly paired flavorful salsas.
Slated to hit store shelves nationwide this month, the new line includes two tortilla chip and salsa pairings. Tostitos Cantina Thin & Crispy tortilla chips offer a crispy, light texture and pair with the smoky flavor of new Tostitos Cantina Chipotle Restaurant Style salsa. Meanwhile, Tostitos Cantina Traditional tortilla chips are authentic, hearty yellow corn chips as well as provide "an abundant crunch" and stand up to hearty dips such as Tostitos Cantina Roasted Garlic Thick & Chunky salsa, the company said.
Tostitos Cantina Chipotle Restaurant Style salsa and Tostitos Cantina Roasted Garlic Thick & Chunky salsa come in 15.5-ounce jars for a suggested retail price of $3.29 each. Tostitos Cantina Thin & Crispy tortilla chips are offered in 9-ounce packages and retail for $3.29 each. Tostitos Cantina Traditional tortilla chips are available in 12-ounce packages for $3.29 each and in 20-ounce packages for $4.99 each.
