Updated COVID-19 vaccines now available at Walgreens

Patients can schedule appointments in advance or walk in to receive their updated COVID-19, flu and other recommended vaccines at no cost with most insurance

DEERFIELD, Ill. – Walgreens is now offering 2026-2027 COVID-19 vaccines for eligible patients. With multiple viruses and seasonal illnesses expected to circulate this fall and winter, Walgreens is making it easy for patients to stay protected by offering COVID-19, flu, RSV, pneumococcal and other recommended vaccines during a single visit.

Patients can walk into their local Walgreens pharmacy or schedule an appointment at Walgreens.com/ScheduleVaccine, through the Walgreens app, by texting "Flu" to 66879 or by calling 1-800-WALGREENS in most states.

"As respiratory virus season ramps up, many people are thinking about how to protect themselves and their loved ones," said Rick Gates, chief pharmacy officer, Walgreens. "Getting multiple recommended vaccines at the same time is a safe and effective way to reduce the risk of illness and help protect yourself, your family and your community heading into the fall and winter. Our goal is to make getting vaccinated as convenient as possible so patients can save time and stay protected."

Walgreens is continuing to invest in the vaccination experience this season through increased pharmacy staffing and expanded appointment availability, including the ability for patients to schedule appointments further in advance. As an added benefit, patients who get a vaccine at Walgreens can earn $15 in Walgreens Cash rewards on their next eligible in-store purchase of $5 or more as a myWalgreens member. myWalgreens member patients also receive 10% back in Walgreens Cash rewards on eligible purchases for the next 30 days.2
