CHICAGO — Black Girl Vitamins is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Black History Month with a culture-inspired campaign that combines art, wellness, and storytelling. Called Black Art Is Wellness, the initiative includes limited-edition supplement labels and a commemorative tote bag designed by Black women artists from around the world.
The campaign highlights the brand’s dedication to purpose-driven wellness for Black women while showcasing artists whose work centers on healing, self-expression, and collective empowerment.
“Art and wellness are deeply connected, both are forms of care, expression, and liberation,” said Jennifer Juma, chief strategy officer at Black Girl Vitamins. “As we celebrate 100 years of Black History Month, this campaign honors the creativity of Black women while affirming that our health, stories, and well-being deserve to be centered.”
Limited-Edition Designs and Artist Lineup
Black Girl Vitamins expanded its annual Black History Month artist collaboration for the centennial year, launching a global artist search last fall that drew more than 50 submissions. Eighteen artists were selected, and their designs appeared on 18 BGV products and a commemorative tote bag. The limited-edition items will be available throughout Black History Month, while supplies last.
