SAN DIEGO – The annual Roundtable on Critical Issues in Community Pharmacy sponsored by Chain Drug Review has just concluded. Held in conjunction with NACDS Total Store Expo, the meeting brought together leaders from many of the nation’s top pharmacy operators and representatives of the supplier community.
Panelists included Rick Gates, senior vice president of pharmacy at Walgreens and NACDS chairman; Steve Anderson, president and chief executive officer of NACDS; Kevin Host, senior vice president of pharmacy at Walmart; Crystal Lennartz, president of Health Mart and Health Mart Atlas; Jackie Morse, group vice president of pharmacy and health at Meijer; Dain Rusk, vice president of pharmacy at Publix; and Jenni Zilka, president of Good Neighbor Pharmacy.


Participating suppliers were Lari Harding, senior vice president of health industry affairs and strategic partnerships at Inmar Intelligence; Todd Huseby, partner at Kearney; David Pope, chief pharmacy officer at XiFin Pharmacy Solutions; John Ridyard, president of EmpiRx Health; and Brian Sullivan, principal – pharmacy solutions at KNAPP.
