RALEIGH, N.C. — Kerr Drug Inc.’s Kerr Health subsidiary has launched a web site designed to communicate the health care services provider’s offerings to doctors, patients, caregivers and employers.
The new site, www.kerrhealth.com, provides information about Kerr Health’s menu of services, including consultation with pharmacists and nurses (available 24 hours a day), synchronization of medications, delivery of prescriptions (often on the same day), and performing verification and prior authorization for insurance benefits.
The site also features testimonials, news about special programs and online referral forms.
In addition, the site describes Kerr Health’s three areas of service: specialty medications and individual care for people with cancer, HIV/AIDS and other conditions; health and wellness education and intervention services; and pharmacy services to skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living facilities.
“We wanted to create a means for providing useful information and engaging our customers,” explains Kerr Health president Mike Brown. “We believe this new web site will help us connect with physicians, medical practices, employer groups, long-term health care facilities and the general public on a more substantial level.”
