Kimberly-Clark completes acquisition of Kenvue, creating global consumer health and wellness leader

The combined company now includes 10 billion-dollar brands and serves consumers across multiple life stages and health needs

DALLAS – Kimberly-Clark Corp. announced the completion of its acquisition of Kenvue, bringing together two consumer products leaders to create a global consumer health and wellness company with a portfolio spanning personal care, family care, self-care and consumer health categories.

The combined company now includes 10 billion-dollar brands and serves consumers across multiple life stages and health needs, positioning Kimberly-Clark to expand its reach in growing health and wellness markets worldwide.

“This is a landmark moment for Kimberly-Clark as we welcome Kenvue and begin our next chapter as one company,” said Mike Hsu, chairman and chief executive officer of Kimberly-Clark. “Together, we share a strong legacy of category leadership, consumer trust and innovation. By combining our complementary portfolios, capabilities and expertise, we are well positioned to meet evolving consumer needs and deliver meaningful value for consumers, customers and shareholders.”

Expanded Portfolio and Global Reach

The acquisition combines Kimberly-Clark’s expertise in personal and family care with Kenvue’s consumer health portfolio, creating a broad lineup of brands that includes Huggies, Kleenex, Scott, Cottonelle, Depend, Kotex, Tylenol, Listerine, Neutrogena and Johnson’s Baby.

Company officials said the combination strengthens Kimberly-Clark’s position in several high-growth categories, including baby care, women’s health, skin health and active aging, while expanding its presence in markets where consumers increasingly seek science-backed wellness and self-care products.

Growth Strategy and Synergies

Kimberly-Clark plans to leverage its Powering Care growth strategy and operating model to accelerate innovation, strengthen brand performance and enhance commercial execution across the combined portfolio.

The company reaffirmed its expectation to achieve approximately $2.1 billion in annual run-rate synergies. These include approximately $1.9 billion in cost savings expected within the first three years after closing, along with approximately $500 million in revenue-related profit synergies, partially offset by about $300 million in reinvestment spending.

According to the company, integration planning has been underway and a pipeline of cost and revenue initiatives has already been identified to support value creation.

New Operating Structure

As previously announced, Kimberly-Clark will operate through four geographic business segments:

  • North America, generating approximately $18 billion in annual sales.
  • Asia Pacific Focus Markets, including Greater China, Australia/New Zealand, South Korea and Indonesia, generating approximately $4.3 billion in annual sales.
  • Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), generating approximately $5 billion in annual sales.
  • Enterprise Markets, including Latin America, India, Southeast Asia and Japan, generating approximately $4.3 billion in annual sales.

Kimberly-Clark said the structure is designed to enhance local-market execution while supporting global growth and operational efficiency.
