CINCINNATI — The Kroger Co. is encouraging customers to protect themselves and their communities by staying up to date on recommended vaccinations this season. Through its nationwide pharmacy network, Kroger offers convenient access to flu, COVID-19, RSV and other routine vaccines, making it easy for customers to get vaccinated while shopping for groceries or managing other healthcare needs.
Vaccines are currently available at Kroger Family of Pharmacies, with both walk-in and scheduled appointments offered. Most insured patients can receive recommended vaccines at no out-of-pocket cost. Appointments can be scheduled at Kroger.com/vaccine.
Customers may also be eligible for savings that are automatically loaded to their loyalty accounts at Kroger pharmacy locations.
"Kroger touches more than 11 million customers every day, giving us a real opportunity to protect our communities," said Bill Shinton, interim president of Kroger Health. "Scheduling a flu shot while customers are picking up groceries or filling a prescription is the kind of simple, accessible healthcare that makes a difference for our neighbors."
Recommended Vaccinations This Season
Health experts continue to recommend an annual flu vaccine for everyone six months and older. COVID-19 vaccinations are recommended for adults 18 and older, while RSV vaccines are advised for adults 75 and older and for adults ages 50 to 74 who have certain chronic health conditions.
Kroger pharmacists are available to answer questions about vaccine eligibility and help customers determine which immunizations are appropriate for them.
Flu, COVID-19 and RSV vaccines can be administered during the same appointment, providing a convenient option for customers looking to stay protected throughout the respiratory illness season.
Convenient Access to Care
Kroger operates more than 2,200 pharmacies across 35 states, supported by nearly 200 The Little Clinic locations. Customers can schedule vaccine appointments online or visit their local Kroger Family of Pharmacies for walk-in service and personalized guidance from pharmacy teams.
By integrating preventive healthcare with everyday shopping, Kroger aims to make vaccinations more accessible and help improve community health nationwide.
