SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation has elected Coca-Cola Co. executive Diane Wallace as a member of its board of directors.
The foundation said Wednesday that Wallace will serve a one-year term on the NACDS Foundation board.
At Coca-Cola, Wallace currently is vice president and general manager of sales and marketing responsible for the Walgreens business unit.
"We welcome Diane Wallace to the NACDS Foundation board and look forward to working with her in her new capacity," NACDS Foundation president Edith Rosato said in a statement. "The NACDS Foundation board members represent all facets of the pharmacy community — retailers, pharmaceutical companies and consumer product businesses — and together as a cohesive unit, we strive to implement the foundation’s vision and mission to improve and advance public health and wellness.”
In addition, NACDS president and chief executive officer Steve Anderson was elected to serve as chairman of the foundation’s board; Rosato will continue to serve as president; R. James Huber, NACDS executive vice president and chief financial officer, will serve as treasurer; and Nicki Robins, NACDS assistant general counsel, will serve as secretary.
All of the officers will serve a one-year term, the NACDS Foundation said.
