ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Association of Chain Drug Stores has begun registration for the 2014 NACDS Annual Meeting.
NACDS said Friday that online registration for the event, to be held April 26 to 29, 2014, in Scottsdale, Ariz., is available on the association’s website at annual.NACDS.org.
"The NACDS Annual Meeting truly is one of a kind, offering unique opportunities for retail executives from drug, food and mass merchandising and their supplier partners that continue long-after the meeting concludes," NACDS president and chief executive officer Steve Anderson said in a statement.
In addition, the association said registration for the 2014 NACDS Regional Chain Conference is open. For senior retail executives operating up to 250 stores, the conference offers programming and educational opportunities with peers and trading partners.
Coming up next is the inaugural NACDS Total Store Expo, which kicks off in three weeks. The new trade show, which runs Aug. 10 to 13 in Las Vegas, unites three NACDS meetings: the Supply Chain & Logistics Conference, the Marketplace Conference and the Pharmacy & Technology Conference.
NACDS reported that the exhibit floor of the Total Store Expo is sold out, reflecting the industry’s commitment to the new event.
"Together, the NACDS Regional Chain Conference, NACDS Annual Meeting and NACDS Total Store Expo create a trifecta of powerful, innovative industry meetings that are essential for day-to-day business of retailers and suppliers," Anderson stated.
