ARLINGTON, Va. — The iconic Nestlé Nesquik flavored milk drink is celebrating its first experiential event to honor its 70th anniversary. Opening Sat, July 21, Nesquik is hosting “The Nesquik Milk Stop,” a week-long pop-up event at the popular Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. Guests can join to celebrate years of great taste combined with the nutritional power of milk.
To bring this event to life, Nesquik is teaming up with restaurateur and Cooking Channel’s Late Nite Eats host, Chef Jordan Andino. “NESQUIK’s rich, milky flavor is a taste that fans have loved for 70 years. I wanted to create something that not only showcases this classic taste, but brings this loyal community of fans together to experience the drink in fun, innovative ways,” said Andino. In addition to Andino’s signature menu items, consumers will be able to enjoy fan favorites, such as its Ready-to-Drink flavors, and customize their own milk creations with a variety of exciting flavors to coat the rim, from crushed almonds to shaved coconut to peanut butter, and tasty toppings, including orange and watermelon wedges and PB&J skewers, at Quicky’s Milk Truck.

In 1948, Nestlé’s “Quik” chocolate powder hit store shelves, giving moms an easy way to create a delicious glass of chocolate milk. From the launch of the strawberry flavor in the 1950s, the introduction of Quicky, the Nesquik bunny in the 1970s, to the ready-to-drink bottles and syrups in the 1980s, the brand has continued to innovate and expand its appeal to people of all ages.
Nesquik is staying true to its delicious roots and offering more irresistible and great-tasting flavors than ever. The brand continues to innovate in an ever-changing consumer landscape, staying relevant with loyal fans, while growing new brand enthusiasts in an increasingly crowded drink marketplace. The brand has also evolved with more nutritious options, such as Nesquik Chocolate Powder, which provides 12 essential vitamins and minerals when prepared with one cup of low-fat, vitamin A&D milk. Additionally, Nesquik Ready-to-Drink products contain 8 grams of protein per 8 fluid ounce serving, and its 14 fluid ounce Protein-Plus line is made with 23 grams of protein per bottle.
