SEATTLE — Amazon has announced the return of its annual Prime Day shopping event, set to take place this July. The 2025 edition will offer exclusive deals for Prime members across over 35 product categories, including electronics, beauty, kitchen, and apparel, just in time for early Back-to-School shopping.
This year’s Prime Day will roll out in over 25 countries, with Ireland and Colombia joining the lineup for the first time via amazon.ie and amazon.com, respectively.
The two-day event promises steep discounts on top brands, trending items, influencer picks, and Amazon exclusives. It also underscores the growing influence of independent sellers, who contributed over 200 million items sold during last year’s record-setting Prime Day.
In 2024, Amazon delivered more than 9 billion items same-day or next-day, reflecting its continued investment in fast, free delivery—a core Prime membership benefit. U.S. Prime members reportedly saved an average of over $500 in delivery costs alone last year.
More details are expected in the coming weeks as Amazon gears up for one of the biggest retail events of the summer.
