OAKVILLE, Ontario — Iovate Health Sciences International has appointed longtime executive Raza Bashir as chief executive officer, elevating a leader who has helped shape many of the company’s best-known active-nutrition and weight-management brands.
Bashir, who most recently served as chief innovation officer, has spent nearly two decades leading product innovation across Iovate’s portfolio, including MuscleTech, Hydroxycut, Six Star, and Purely Inspired. The company said his appointment reflects its commitment to science-driven innovation and to continued growth in the active nutrition category.
A graduate of the University of Guelph with a master’s degree in human health and nutritional science, Bashir has built a reputation for translating emerging scientific research into consumer-focused products. He has also held leadership roles in the broader sports nutrition industry, including serving on committees for the American Herbal Products Association.
