FTC sues pharma firms for delaying generic AndroGel

The Federal Trade Commission has filed a complaint in federal district court alleging that AbbVie Inc. and Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. illegally blocked U.S. consumers’ access to generic versions of the testosterone gel AndroGel.

Endo launches Fortesta Gel authorized generic

Endo International plc has shipped what it calls the first and only generic 2% topical testosterone gel. The company said Monday that the product, an authorized generic version of Fortesta Gel, is distributed by Qualitest and promoted by Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc.
