Target becomes the ultimate fan destination for Stranger Things

Starting October 5, more than 150 new items inspired by the hit series will be available in Target stores and online.

MINNEAPOLIS — Target Corp. is teaming up with Netflix to celebrate the highly anticipated fifth and final season of Stranger Things with a nationwide rollout of exclusive products, immersive shopping experiences, and a throwback marketing campaign.

Starting October 5, more than 150 new items inspired by the hit series will be available in Target stores and online, spanning apparel, collectibles, food and beverages, home goods, and toys. Over half of the assortment will be available only at Target, including exclusive releases from Funko, Mattel, Gatorade, and Squishmallows. Standout items include a Demogorgon-shaped popcorn bucket, a Walkie Talkie–inspired phone case, and new Funko POP! figures featuring fan-favorite characters in Hawkins radio station gear.

To showcase the collection, Target will debut a dedicated in-store and online destination where fans can step into the world of Hawkins. The “Stranger Things” shopping space will feature themed displays, product drops, and digital tie-ins, evolving throughout the fall as the series rolls out. Stranger Things 5 will premiere in three volumes on Netflix, beginning November 26 and culminating with the finale on New Year’s Eve.

“As the finale approaches, this is more than just a product launch — it’s a cultural moment,” said Cassandra Jones, Target’s senior vice president of merchandising for Fun101. “We’re turning Target into the ultimate fan experience, with exclusive products and in-store activations that bring the show to life.”

The partnership also includes a national marketing campaign co-created with Netflix, highlighted by a nostalgic re-creation of a 1987 Target store in Hawkins, Ind. The campaign will feature Stranger Things cast members and a mix of TV spots and experiential in-store moments designed to transport shoppers back to the 1980s.
