ROCHESTER, N.Y. — VoicePort LLC has partnered with iMedicare to provide patient-specific Medicare plan analyses to community pharmacists via the VoicePort CLARO adherence application.
VoicePort said Monday that the collaboration will give its current and future clients access to iMedicare’s service, which helps patients make informed decisions when selecting a Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D prescription drug plan.
VoicePort’s CLARO adherence solution offers such pharmacy capabilities as medication synchronization.
CLARO is designed to assist pharmacists as proactive providers of adherence-related patient intervention solutions. The application uses its data integration and analytics capabilities to communicate and display patient-specific financial forecasting based on available Medicare plans in a patient’s home state.
“Our application has been shown to improve medication adherence and patient loyalty by providing services such as Med Sync, pickup and refill reminder notifications, appointment scheduling, inbound IVR technology, immunization intelligence services, data analytics and Star Ratings measurement/management,” stated Jeff Maltese, vice president of pharmacy strategic development for VoicePort. “Providing additional support to patients in selecting the right Medicare Part D plan is a perfect fit.”
iMedicare’s decision-automation platform is designed to reduce out-of-pocket costs for pharmacy patients. More than 4,500 pharmacies use iMedicare to provide a differentiated service to their patients, improve Star Ratings and boost their Medicare business.
