SEATTLE — Amazon announced the expansion of its Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) service to support Walmart Marketplace orders, with integrations for Shopify and SHEIN coming later this year. The move builds on MCF’s success fulfilling orders for other channels including eBay, Etsy, Temu and TikTok Shop.
By using one shared inventory pool with Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), MCF enables merchants to simplify logistics, reduce out-of-stock rates and improve inventory turnover. Amazon said sellers using MCF for non-Amazon channels have reported an average 19% increase in sales.
“Amazon’s world-class fulfillment network delights customers with fast, reliable delivery—fueling the success of independent sellers in the U.S. and around the world,” said Peter Larsen, Vice President of Amazon Multichannel Commerce & Fulfillment. “By working with SHEIN, Shopify, and Walmart, we're making it easier for sellers— especially the small and medium-sized businesses that drive our economy—to use our network to grow faster and more efficiently across their sales channels.”
Amazon said merchants can integrate MCF directly with Walmart Marketplace, Shopify Fulfillment Network and the upcoming SHEIN app, gaining access to real-time inventory synchronization, unbranded packaging, order tracking and quick delivery.
Since launch, MCF has expanded globally, now serving hundreds of thousands of merchants and fulfilling millions more orders year-over-year. Amazon said the service continues to evolve to meet the needs of brands selling across their own websites, online retailers and social media channels.
