VALLEY FORGE, Pa. — Michael DiCandilo, executive vice president and chief financial officer at AmerisourceBergen Corp., has left the company.
The pharmaceutical distributor said Monday that DiCandilo has departed the company after over two decades there "to pursue other interests."
Effective immediately, vice president and corporate controller Tim Guttman will serve as acting CFO and oversee the company’s core financial functions on an interim basis.
AmerisourceBergen said it has engaged an executive search firm to help it recruit a new CFO.
"Mike departs the company with an impeccable record of service over his 21 years, including the past 10 as our chief financial officer," said Steven Collis, president and chief executive officer at AmerisourceBergen, said in a statement. "His tremendous contributions to the success of AmerisourceBergen through his fiscal leadership and business stewardship are greatly appreciated, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors."
