Haggen appoints pharmacy executive

Food and drug retailer Haggen Inc. has hired Guy DiPasqua as vice president of pharmacy. The company said DiPasqua brings more than 34 years in pharmacy operations in a leadership role, including as a lead for Sav-on and Osco Pharmacy operations, as well as the Target Corp.

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Food and drug retailer Haggen Inc. has hired Guy DiPasqua as vice president of pharmacy.

The company said DiPasqua brings more than 34 years in pharmacy operations in a leadership role, including as a lead for Sav-on and Osco Pharmacy operations, as well as the Target Corp., where he oversaw pharmacies in 64 stores.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, DiPasqua graduated from the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy.

DiPasqua’s appointment was one of four new hires and one promotion announced by Haggen. Joining the chain are John Turley as senior vice president of operations, Ronette Snyder as vice president of marketing and Renee Glondo as the director of bakery. Haggen also promoted Clement Stevens to senior vice president of sales and merchandising.

Haggen operates 28 supermarkets in Washington and Oregon under the Haggen Food & Pharmacy and TOP Food & Drug banners.
