CLICHY, France — L’Oréal today announced a series of appointments within the Group’s Executive Committee and Extended Executive Committee. The changes, which underscore the company’s focus on growth and transformation across global markets, will take effect January 1, 2026, with handovers beginning October 1, 2025.
David Greenberg Named Chairman of L’Oréal USA
David Greenberg will be appointed to the newly created role of Chairman of L’Oréal USA, where he will represent the Group with key institutional stakeholders to strengthen its reputation and ensure its license to operate in its largest market.
A veteran with 32 years of service, Greenberg has played a pivotal role in establishing L’Oréal’s market leadership in the U.S. Under his leadership, the U.S. became the Group’s number one growth driver for three consecutive years, with L’Oréal Luxe rising to the top in the U.S. and North America surpassing the €10 billion sales milestone in 2022.
He also led the acceleration of the Professional Products Division in North America and was instrumental in the expansion of American brands, including NYX Professional Makeup, Essie, Matrix, and ColorWow. Among his major projects were the inauguration of a €140 million research center in Clark, N.J., the renovation of the New York City headquarters, and new corporate offices in El Segundo, Calif.

Alexis Perakis-Valat Appointed CEO of L’Oréal USA and President, North America
Succeeding Greenberg, Alexis Perakis-Valat will become CEO of L’Oréal USA and President, North America.
Currently President of the Consumer Products Division, Perakis-Valat joined L’Oréal in 1994 and has led key markets including France, Spain, Germany, and China, where he doubled the business and oversaw its digital and e-commerce transformation. Since 2016, he has led the Consumer Products Division to global growth, increasing sales from €12 billion to €16 billion, while boosting profitability and strengthening brand equity.
Over the course of nine years, he transformed the Division into a global powerhouse, expanding major brands and driving acquisitions, such as Korean makeup brand 3CE and Dr. G. He also unlocked growth in Emerging Markets, which saw high double-digit acceleration.

Fabrice Megarbane to Lead Consumer Products Division
Fabrice Megarbane, currently Chief Global Growth Officer, will succeed Perakis-Valat as President of the Consumer Products Division.
Megarbane’s 24-year career includes transformative leadership as CEO of L’Oréal China and President of the North Asia Zone. As Chief Global Growth Officer since 2024, he has shaped the company’s integrated growth strategy and accelerated e-commerce with partners such as Amazon and TikTok. In China, he doubled sales, gained market share, and ensured carbon neutrality across industrial sites.

Vianney Derville Appointed Chief Growth Officer
Vianney Derville, currently President of Europe, will succeed Megarbane as Chief Growth Officer.
Since 2016, Derville has transformed the European zone, which delivered over €11.4 billion in sales last year and became the most significant contributor to the Group’s growth. He expanded public affairs capabilities to navigate Europe’s complex regulatory landscape and strengthened online market leadership.

Emmanuel Goulin Named President of Europe
Emmanuel Goulin, currently President of Travel Retail, will assume the role of President of Europe.
Goulin has overseen major transformations in Travel Retail, including reinventing the beauty experience in airports, restructuring operations, and refocusing on the traveler’s journey. His international career includes leadership roles in Japan, Hong Kong, the UK, France, and Italy, where he drove double-digit growth and sustainable development initiatives.

Eva Yu Appointed President of Travel Retail and Joins Extended Executive Committee
Eva Yu, currently President and Managing Director of L’Oréal Hong Kong, will succeed Goulin as President of Travel Retail and join the Extended Executive Committee. She will split her time between Paris and Singapore to align closely with Travel Retail’s Asian hub.
Yu has led L’Oréal Hong Kong to increased market share and recognition in retail excellence, sustainability, and talent development. Earlier, she became the first Asian woman to lead L’Oréal Travel Retail APAC, driving growth across 27 markets.
