CAMP HILL, Pa. — Rite Aid Corp. has kicked off the new year with a new customer savings promotion called Resolution Rewards.
The drug store chain said that Resolution Rewards, which began Sunday and runs through Jan. 28, makes it easy for members of its wellness+ customer loyalty program "to resolve to save more in 2012."
To participate, wellness+ members look for red "Buy & $ave" symbols on store shelves and in weekly circulars, including an expanded, 16-page circular ad in newspapers nationwide Jan. 1 and online. Once they spend $100 on qualifying products, they receive a $20 +UP Reward on the bottom of the register receipt to be used like cash in Rite Aid stores.
Rite Aid noted that thousands of products throughout the store count toward the $20 +UP Reward, including select cosmetics and beauty care products, such as nail polish and fragrances; vitamins, supplements and weight-loss aids; hair care products such as shampoo, hair dryers, accessories, shavers and trimmers; personal care products such as toothpaste, mouthwash and skin moisturizers; cleaning and household supplies such as light bulbs, laundry detergent and pet food; baby products, such as diapers and wipes; cough, cold and allergy items; vver-the-counter medications, including heartburn relief; cereal, snacks and other food products; Valentine’s Day candy; electronics such as computer accessories, ink cartridges and prepaid phones; and prepaid gift cards
The retailer added that its sales circulars also help customers spot extra savings, such as Resolution Rewards products that also qualify for a buy one/get one sale, a Single Check Rebate or a matching manufacturer coupons found separately in most newspapers.
