SEATTLE — Bartell Drugs has teamed up with EveryMove to launch an online rewards program that encourages its customers to pursue healthy lifestyles.

The Seattle-area drug chain said Tuesday that Bartell customers who sign up for the EveryMove program will earn such rewards as Bartell Drugs gift cards as they track their healthy lifestyle activities at EveryMove.org/bartelldrugs.
Via the EveryMove program, participants can link to a range of online health tracking applications and earn points for a variety of healthy activities, such as walking, running, biking and visits to the gym.
"Bartell Drugs shares our vision of rewarding customers committed to making healthy lifestyle choices," Russell Benaroya, co-founder and chief executive officer of Seattle-based EveryMove, said in a statement. "Together, we are offering a new and personalized tool that provides consumers with additional incentives to achieve their fitness goals."
According to EveryMove, program rewards such as merchandise and gift cards from local merchants can also be supplemented by additional rewards sponsored by an employer or health plan.
