SEATTLE — Bartell Drugs has launched "Rocket to the Top of the Space Needle," a promotion being done in tandem with one of Seattle’s marquee attractions.
The Puget Sound-area drug chain said that starting Monday, Bartell Drugs stores will offer vouchers for free visits to the holiday-themed Space Needle Observation Deck, while supplies last.
The vouchers are for one free adult or up to two free youth tickets (valid with the purchase of one adult observation deck ticket), and they will be available at all 58 Bartell Drugs locations in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties.
Visitors with vouchers can take in the sky-high views from Observation Deck through Dec. 30, according to Bartell. Holiday festivities begin Nov. 23, including appearances by
"Seattle’s Coolest Santa."
Bartell has been helping to spotlight the 50th anniversary of the Space Needle, an icon of Seattle’s skyline, through an array of community-focused promotions and events.
