ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Foundation announced the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors and thanked three departing directors for their years of dedicated service.
The Foundation appointed the new members on Sunday, August 16, during the 2026 NACDS Total Store Expo. Each will serve a one-year term:
- Christine Lane, senior vice president, healthcare marketing & communications, Inmar Intelligence
- Scott Robinson, national vice president, corporate partnerships, Cencora
- Tom Utech, chief executive officer, iA
“The NACDS Foundation has advanced community health through pharmacy education, research, and engagement for more than three decades, and that progress reflects the caliber of the leaders who guide our work,” said NACDS Foundation President Christie Boutte, PharmD, RPh, IOM. “We are proud to welcome Christine, Scott, and Tom to our Board of Directors. Each brings a unique perspective and valuable experience that aligns with the Foundation’s mission and will help guide our work as we continue to advance pharmacy education, research, and patient-centered care. We look forward to their contributions and to working together to help shape the future of pharmacy and improve health outcomes.”
The Foundation also recognized three directors who are concluding their Board service and thanked them for their commitment to the Foundation:
- Claire Biermaas, senior vice president, global marketing, communications & public affairs, Cencora | Appointed to the Board in April 2024
- Maureen Cavanaugh, retired senior vice president & chief commercial operations officer, Lannett Company, Inc. | Appointed to the Board in August 2015
- Lari Harding, retired senior vice president, healthcare industry affairs & strategic partnerships, Inmar Intelligence | Appointed to the Board in April 2025
“We are grateful to Claire, Maureen, and Lari for their dedication, insight, and generosity throughout their service,” Boutte said. “Their leadership and commitment have been an important part of the Foundation’s work and the impact we have made together. The new directors join NACDS Foundation Board Chair Steven C. Anderson, and the Foundation’s continuing Board members in guiding its strategic vision and operations.
